Interior Designer's Job Responsibilities:
- Researches, programs, plans, designs, and administers Interior projects for clients, applying knowledge of Interior design, Interior detailing, on site execution procedures, preparing mood boards, samples of materials and finishes samples.
- Produces conceptual presentation, renderings, and documents like work schedule, order list, finishes list, BOQ (Bill of quantity) etc.
- Interaction with client & contractor for taking inputs and outputs, and explanation of drawings and details.
- Produces construction documents in AutoCAD and Sketchup
- Working with the Project Manager, may direct supervise, and check activities of workers engaged.
- Interaction with other Architects, Civil engineer and project managers for large projects.
- Works in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
- Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.
Interior Designer's Qualifications / Skills:
- Ability to provide elegant and efficient design solutions
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work under indirect supervision
Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability
- Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills
- Technically creative and open-minded
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree/Diploma in Interior Design from an accredited institution (Architect's degree not required) Architects please don't apply for this job.
- 3+ years of Interior Design experience preferably within the hiring firm’s field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vray, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office is required Expert in Revit and Lumion will be prefered.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
